Some of the technical elements will get easily corrected with more practice, the unique concept and vision are superb.

The figure really looks realistic, and done in pastels? The skin is there. The butterflies are nice, quite busy but well done, gladly covering areas; the background is nice too.

Deserves a 6 but none left. I see skillfull and clever use of pastels here and innovation in adding those butterflies producing an exceptional piece of art. The body is very realistic. The colour pallet is charming and has a cool impact.

It is a lot I like about this picture, but I also have some comments. The color pallet is lovely, and I especially like the blue hues and textures of the background. You have also done skin tones well, and it is a good use of high lights on the body.
The legs up to the waste is perfect, but the arms and back look a bit off. I do however appreciate that since you called this a new beginning, perhaps the upper body was meant to be a bit deformed.
Then I think the overlay of butterflies is a bit over done as well. Less of them would have been more effective in my opinion.
The format and framing is working well, and it is a fine balance in the composition. All together this is a very creative and well done pastel Joanna, but in need of some corrections.

I love this. I have a couple woman paintings with butterflies across her shoulders. Your title is cool. It is exactly (word for word) what I think of when I think of butterflies. I love the colors you chose. It is so easy to go way too colorful with butterflies. But this color choice keeps it classy and adult- like. So many story telling possibilities. Very nice

Very artistic work of art. The layers of this piece have tremendous depth. The colors of blue and gold along with the skin tones add to the beauty of the scene. The butterflies have the feeling of fluttering above or outside of the layer that the body occupies The use of light adds to the overall scene and gives it life. NIce work.
