Wow! I love this piece!! I couldn't pass it by without giving a review...I love all the texture and details you put into this. It has great depth and imagination. It reminds me a little of stained glass with its geometric lines but the shadowing really makes it come alive!! This would have made a great entry for the colourful art contest! Thanks for sharing

Thank you so very much for the lovely review. Yes, you are very observant in my trying new techniques. I was gone for awhile due to me moving 1200 miles from California to Alabama. ( There actually ARE 'Leaf Insects' that mimic green leaves as a sort of camouflage but they aren't 'butterflies'. )
