Mmmm I am going to look at this picture until summer, when I will go back to Greece :) This photo is offering a glimpse into the daily life and food of the region. The use of light and color enhances the subject, making the tentacles appear fresh and appetizing.
They are appetizing, yes!!
So, the photo is a well-captured representation of the local culture and cuisine of the harbor area in Lesvos.

OMG! A lovely photo of a not so lovely scene - it quite turns my stomach as it's clear exactly what they are and all I can think of is the poor octopuses they once belonged to! Lol
My queasiness apart, this is a good photo, and perfect for the contest. The colours are natural, exposure is good, the subjects are beautifully sharp showing excellent detail (unfortunately! Lol). Great entry. Very best wishes for the competition.

Well this is a great contest entry for the letter "O" but truth be told I don't believe this sight would amp up my appetite. Quite the opposite effect actually. I guess I'm not a worldly person.

i wouldnt mind trying some. wink. the angle of the shot of the tips of the octopus's hanging is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

As a vegetarian/vegan I must admit that I find this picture very distressing. However, given that most other people eat fish or sea creatures such as these, I have to accept that it is a viable display. It is an unusual picture to include but I get the 'O' bit and it does fulfil the requirements. The picture is well lit and appears to be in focus but I think that I would have stepped back a bit in order to get all of the tentacles in as you have cut off the top of one of them and the bottom of several.

This is certainly a usual subject and such an interesting entry for this contest! This is a first for me, I imagine there is a reason the tentacles are hung Ike this.
You have photographed them well with good focus, this image is clear and we see the details in the tentacles.
Exposure is good, the colors and tones appear natural.
