This is so cool. The cools are amazing in this iris. Are you using bellows for a shot like this? This looks like a whole new universe. I first thought this was an underwater shot.

Bellows are just a piece that fits between the camera and the lens. You can pull them in or out. They are another type of macro.

This is a great idea for an abstract photograph. The colours are wonderful but then I love purple anyway. The only think that I find distracting is the fact that the petal in front of the picture is out of focus and takes up about a quarter of the picture. The rest is great though so good luck with it

I find this interesting and yes it does form an abstract in this although the dof is smallish rather than the whole photo being sharp it does for me add to that abstract feel....Brian
