Then toning done the flower still with excellent design but lighter tones is perfect! Really amazing art and a true pleasure to view!

Nice work on this swallowtail on the thistle. A very typical location to observe this butterfly. Your composition is perfect. Funny how even the most colorful things can still be beautiful even when that color is taken away. Well done.

Wow! This drawing is stunning!
On the thumbnail I thought it was a B&W photo, it's that realistic!
The butterfly and the thistle are so lifelike and beautifully drawn and the blurred background sets both off perfectly.

I was sure that this was perfect photo converted to
B/W. WOW, what a stunning piece of artwork. The use of graphite giving us tons of shading and shadows present so well, The DOF of the butterfly's relationship to the thistle is perfect. The muted background is what tipped me off that this was not a photo. Nice work.
