Yes I really can se your city under the shadow of a hilly backdrop and blue sky Its an industrial city, with factories and chimneys etched in the iron dust impression given in your pallet chouces. The landscape presentation really suits this scene. It reminds me of a town called Consett, Northern England, almost a guost town when the steelworks closed down. Its buildings and streets and nearby countryside all had this rust red colour.

Brenda, you wrote a whole story about my abstract, that is amazing. I did this a few years ago and it sat. I turned it upside down and cropped it, gave it a title and this is the outcome. Thank you so much for this wonderful review. Ray

ok I can see this as a city scape. Good textures. Interesting color palette. I see a city with rolling hills. There is more population in the bottom left and then possibly another close by town over the hills and through the valley. Always fun to use our imaginations.

Monica, I created this a year ago and put it aside. I recently picked it up and I saw a city scape and hence the title. I firmly believe that good art tells its own story and needs no verbiage or explanation, and thats in my artist statement. Art is the oldest form of non-verbal communication. Thank you for the wonderful review and I am glad it was able to stimulate your imagination. Ray

The layers within your artwork are always interesting and I can spend some time looking at the large screen image to see what you have hidden. The buildings and streets of the cityscape with the rising hill in background are carefully concealed to make another great abstract.

The dark red colors with blues are a good representation of a busy place where is a lot of going on.

I'm not a big fan of abstract art, probably cause I find it hard to do. I really like this though, you did a good of not over using any colours, I really like it, well done.
