That's a beautiful photo you were able to take of the stone's. Very well focused but what I really think made the photo is having the blue mountains in the background. Well done.

This is a beautiful photo of one of the beaches on the Canary Islands. Beautiful mountains in the background and an interesting standing stones of a cemetery. Brenda, best of luck in the contest. Ray

I've been to Lanzarote which was beautiful, but I've never been to this island - and you've now tempted me to do so!
Great composition here, with the standing stones decreasing in size as they lead the eye to the distant mountains.
Very interesting notes too, but such a shame you couldn't find more information on it.
Good entry for this competition, best of luck in it.

Thank you for your review All the islands have something different. Fuerteventura is very desolate in parts and also has a small desert/dune area. I was there for 7 months plus when our boat was being repaired. I loved my time there, great memories. Recommended you visit.

Wow in 7 months you must have got to know it very well! Lucky you! I?ll definitely add it to my ever growing bucket list!

Your narrative is interesting. Yes, the scene does seem so soft, almost serene. The sky is lovely, with only one large cloud partially seen; the mountain with its blue tint is lovely and the remainder of the scene is so nice. Best wishes.

You are welcome, artist friend. This is skillfully photographed and a stunning scene. You are quite the photographer as well, I see.

I had to look up where you were I had never heard of it but had heard of Canary Islands as my father served there after WWII.
I love when nature comes right up to the beach as you describe and your image is interesting to view with the standing stones. The color of the sand is very rich gold against the brown stones and blue hazy mountain.
Nice to view, such a shame there is no plaque to tell the story.

Well A+ for a very unique scene. I keep looking to see spirits possibly walking through the scene. Maybe the tall dry rock towers are placed to find the grave stones during possible flooding. It is definitely an interesting find. Good perspective. Depth is good. Majestic mountains seem to be guarding the scared land against the beautiful blue sky.
Best of luck in the outside photo contest!

Looks a fairly unique place for sure sort of slightly spooky but that aside this is quite a good one but i would trim a tad of the sky in this just to make more of the place in this...Brian

Thank you. Yes that area is slightly spooky. They have large baracas from interior to sea, they are huge crevices in the rocks that water rushes down in heavy rain and are used as roads when dry, very spooky driving up them. I tested out your cut and its good but I like that bit of cloud.. 🙃🙂🙃

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of the dramatic and interesting location before you. Colours, textures and tones are good. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done and good luck!

This is an interesting capture. The cemetery against the background of blue mountains makes it interesting to view. Fine composition, soft colours and very good light make this first-rate. Good luck!
