Green on green. I had to look a bit to find him. I am not used to seeing parrots in Michigan. The lighting and colors are true as is your little green friend. He looks al hoe in the apple tree. My guess that he eats the fruit. Good cropping and lighting.

The parakeets are back after your apples. He sure knows a good thing when he sees one. Any way this is one of your beautiful parakeets and I am sure he is an old friend by now. Ray

He does blend in..lol. the clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this green bird in the brush with the fruit is great. The capture of the light is great. The presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

Witty title and narrative. The apples are nice as the parakeet is. Looks like he has just bitten a good bit from one apple and left it. Perhaps he will finish it. Thanks for sharing.

Well I guess he figured the apples were his payment for posing for your lovely photo. Beautiful colors. Well focused and presented. I love how the parakeet blends in with your lush apple tree.
A very beautiful setting. Thank you for sharing!

I know they are a pest, but they are still very pretty birds. I like how he blends nicely with those apples he seems to be enjoying so much, it looks like he moved when you were taking your photo, seeing that the surrounding apples appear focused. It's a shame when wildlife doesn't cooperate, i often have the same problem with my deer!

This is a well composed picture of a parakeet but, unfortunately, some of the apples are in focus while the parakeet is not. The picture is well lit and portrait mode works well here though.

Sure, help yourself. This guy looks like he's gotten away with eating the apples because he blends in so well. This is nicely framed, sharp focus and good timing.

Fred,
This undocumented Rose -ringed Parakeet from darkest Africa is busy feasting on your Apples & I suspect he did NOT stop at just one! Beautiful composition & framing taken with excellnt camera techniques BUT the focus on the Parakeet is not as sharp as your pictures normally are. I suspect he moved as you clicked, the apples are razor sharp.

A good looking nature image posted here! Reckon it was eating before he asked. Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of the scene. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Nicely done!
