The background unto the red is nice. The rest of it is okay. You have done a fine job in portraying straggling daffodils and several of them turned out well. The stems are presented well for the theme.

Yes, it is. And, it is much prettier in this smaller oval shape. Lovely actually.

The sketch/paint of miniature straggling daffodils in a bowl is a charming and unique image. You have captured the delicate and intricate details of the flowers and their surroundings in a sketchy and loose style. The fact that this painting is part of an daily sketching art challenge adds a sense of spontaneity and immediacy to the image. The story behind the sketch, the process of how the artist found the daffodils and how they were able to paint it, adds a personal touch and a deeper meaning to the image. The composition is also pleasing, with the bowl and flowers being the main subject and the background being simple and uncluttered, providing a sense of isolation and focus on the flowers. It is a well-executed and visually interesting sketch/paint of miniature straggling daffodils in a bowl.

LOVE IT!!! I love how this is presented. The bright yellow against a dull gray background helps it pop off the page. Like how you used the darker colors in the background to help the plant stand out more. Wonderful job!

Hi Brenda! It was interesting to read your description of your artwork. I like anything to do with flowers and especially these wonderful flowers that represent Spring trying to emerge!
I'm glad you got to enjoy some for at least a little while!

Oh wow Brenda. I giggled that it all popped like that. I had that happen once when I was about to compost one. It shocked me right into keeping it! This is so imperfectly perfect. Beautiful! Can't wait to see it again!
