Very nice idea, I feel like I am looking out your window at these icicles. They have no particular resemblance to anything and have a random pattern and this fits the definition of abstract perfectly. The best part is it is not complicated. Miss S you have done a fine job choosing this and good luck in the black and white contest. Ray

isnt it so interesting how a water drip can freeze into this ice structure and all are different from the next. just be careful you arent underneath as it can kill you or take out an eye!

Awesome!! Your shot has such a pleasant surrealism and almost dizzying perspective/depth, Love it!! The black and white presentation enhances this feeling in a wonderful way. Excellent entry to the contest, best wishes!!

Interesting capture. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of these ice cycles is great. the capture of the light is great. The presentation is balance and eye interesting to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

I just love this, everything about it screams creative!

The black and white is done perfectly with great details and depth.

It's like looking down on tree trunks... wonderful and wish you the best of luck!

A good looking nature image posted here into the competition! Your fine and full composition gives us an enjoyable view of those long, sharp icicles. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done and good luck!

I hope no one will come under it. They look deadly and ready to hit the ground. Good shot. This shows how we can find beauty even in mundane things that we otherwise ignore. The entire composition, colours, and light make this first-rate. Good luck!

You deserve a "5" with the icicles and their black, white, and gray scales. The dark background brings in the "black" well, but it looks like black earth. Is it? It takes away a little; yet, it is nice and best wishes.

Welcome. It has been a while since I reviewed your work and I have missed it, or heard from you. The more I look at the icicles, the better I like them.

What an awesome entry for this contest ! I love the icicles and the way they are hanging across top frame
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, this works well in Black and white , it holds our eyes on those shiny and clear icicles! Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in his contest!
