Perfect focus and a nice almost diffused look to it with it still be brilliant in color and textures.

Excellent use of direct natural light to bring out the very fine details in those beautiful petals. They are crisp, clear and beautiful. This is one flower i wish I would have, I don't think they would make it where I am so I am really looking forward to seeing more of yours. Beautiful bloom!

The Lotus is prettier and fresher in appearance in the larger view. It looks more alive there too. The left leaf is fine; the right behind the nice stem rather ok. I would have cropped that leaf out and any other that might take away from the stem, flower.

Thanks Glena, if it was cropped anymore it would not only upset the balance but the flower itself would be far too close to edge of frame. I appreciate your thoughts. Not sure a compositional difference of opinion alone should mean a reduction in points but that is your choice.
