Many years of flowing water

Am I mistaken or is this the Basin at Franconia Notch, NH?

I have photographed this spot and the surrounding area rather thoroughly. There are a number of falls in this area.

Just above the basin there is a long fantail cascade. Take the trail to the left of the Basin and a short hike to a three other falls - what a great place.

You did yourself proud with this take, nice job ... Bob

Yes, indeed it is. My younger years were mostly spent in Maine and the Northeast Kingdom, Vermont. Graduated from Lyndon Institute. It is a great area for photography. This was taken two years ago on a return visit.

Wow! Talk about a small world. I was born in Newport and grew up in Barton.

The trees are vibrant, so green. Yes, it is amazing to see how the years of flowing water change and polish rocks. The blues and purples on those rocks are also lovely.

Yes I agree the rocks are beautiful from the flowing water. A beautiful scene. A simple but serene scene. Great colors and textures. A good entry for the waterfall contest. Best of luck!
