An all to do about nothing, I don't have to wonder what this misdirected bird needs, and when he gets what he desires he will definitely be the on top bird of the lake. Ray

I am not sure if your comment converted to black and white only applies to the Heron. The rest of the image is colored. There is nice detail and perfectly focused. A pleasure to view. I love your title always with imagination and humor!

lol..i thought you may have told him a joke and the bird started laughing. lol. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this open beak bird is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Hi Supergold.
I like the way you always bring. Smile to your photography with the titles you give. Perfect title!
The expression on this bird's face is priceless and captured in a timely fashion indeed.
He looks like he's doing a bit of stalking, here.
Perfect balance and focus. I feel I could reach out and pet him.

Your camera settings are spot on perfect for this lovely Grey Heron.

The positioning of the birds head in front of the tree adds a fine contrast and brings out the details of the bird remarkably well.

The details of the hear are all well seen especially the eye and beak. Feather detail is sharp.

I really like the action of the bird.

This is a very well produced take ... Bob

This is a wonderful photo. Clear and detailed. The Heron stands out against the brown of the tree. I like the plant in the corner adding dimension to the whole scene as well. Well done on this one!

I really like his round and glowing eyes! You have shot him well with a dark tree in the background. The light and shadows, colours and composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Fred,
A beautiful profile portrait of the Grey Heron voicing it's opinion to all who will listen to it. The two tree trunks provide a beautiful contrasting background. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A good looking nature image posted here! Wonder why you left the yellow cast in? Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of the angry heron and its location. Nicely done!

This could have been a wonderful shot had the whites been white and not yellow. It's such a shame, as the heron's pose and placement are great and I love the open beak. Your focus on this one is excellent, every part of the heron sharp.
It's such a pity that you chose this particular shot to edit as in my opinion it would have been one of your better shots.
