This deserves six stars. It's so well done! Clear, focused and very detailed. I love the colors and how it's framed in the shot. Not sure what else I can say other than PERFECT!

Thanks Eileen, they are about the size of a bread and butter plate across once opened. Visit them every year if I can and try to get better shots each time but they keep putting the fence further and further back from pond edge making it harder LOL

Hi Mary, Love the lighting on this! You did a fantastic job with the focus too. You can see fantastic texture in the petals. Lotus are such awesome flowers. The color on this one is gorgeous. I've only seen white ones. I was surprised to read that some people were upset on your previous post because they didn't see the stalk of the flower. When you present a lovely view of a flower who cares if you don't see the stalk? Love the pov of this shot. Wish I had six stars for you. You really showed this lotus blossom perfectly! :o) Nancy
