Maybe she is jealous as he stands so tall and proud with beautiful colors. Great textures. Nicely balanced and presented. Good interest and title. Appears as a very lovely day and I always enjoy seeing your adventures.

sounds about right..lol.. nice capture. the angle of the shot of the mallard couple by the water is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

A nice image and story. The ducks are well apart so the landscape elongated presentation suits this little scene. Colours look natural. Looks in focus to me a non true photographer. I like the tree reflection.....it adds location.... if it wasnt there it could be sky and those two on the tip of a ridge!

A beautiful picture of the pair of Mallards on the lake's shore with the trees on the fare shore reflected on the lake's glistening surface. The Drake is standing at the water's edge scanning the distance. while the duck is busy preening under her right wing. on the bank on a pile of dried autumn leaves. Beautful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Witty title again. Fine water reflection of the tree leaves, branches. The two mallards are well photographed, especially the black and white one. The brown one blends in with the leaves more but is also nice. Well done.
