Canada geese flying early morning

You did a fine job capturing most of the Canadian geese flying overhead, but a few of them need to be not have their wings overlapping. The background is rather nice except at the bottom left. I didn't deduct .5 but with work, this could be rather outstanding.

Thanks very much for your input Glena. So, are you saying that I should cut out the geese who?s wings are overlapping and place them somewhere else in the photo?

Welcome. Yes, I think so or remove one or a few. Yet it is a nice, unique capture with their wings merging. Too, should the closer one be larger? Still fine work.

Oh well, too late now. The photo is exactly as they were, I only did the minimum of editing - and I?m not even sure which is the closest one! Lol

You have captured these geese in flight well against the morning light. I struggle with inflight photos my eyes don't keep up with the birds LOL but you have got good focus and clarity on them.

i bet i can hear some hunter saying gimme my wadding boots and shotgun@!..lol. this is a nice capture. the angle of the shot of these geese in v formation in the air is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Interesting capture of these geese Charlotte! I like the golden tones and slight vignette you have used. Nice full frame with lots of action make this eye appealing. Best wishes for the contest!

Charlotte, this is a fabulous shot of these geese venturing out to a new horizon, where the grass is green and plentiful. I hear them every day now over head. The best of luck in the contest. Ray

I wish I was on a major migration route like you, it?s not often that geese fly overhead here, so we all get very excited when they do! Ha ha that must sound so pathetic when you have them in such abundance!
Thank you Sean for your great but rather envy-making review! :-)
