This is a gorgeous outside image. You should have entered the outside photo contest if you haven't already. A beautiful scene with air land and water. It looks like a marvelous adventure on a beautiful day. Great perspective, textures and interest. Great vantage point.

Another wonderful image from Nikman! It was shot right at the best angle. I am curious how on earth did you get that shot? Obviously your not afraid of heights lol. Love how you got the entire scene from the mountains in the background to the waterfall and river. Love it!

Your very kind review is very much appreciated! I am a Brit doing a tour of US National Parks. We had various stops in Yellowstone Park, but unfortunately I cannot remember the location where I took this lovely scene.

Thank you for not putting this fine long shot of the falls dead center. The right of center offset makes for a much more dramatic and highly viewable take - Kudos.

DOF is excellent for the subject matter. There is strong detail across the entire image.

The camera settings are well established and have produced a high resolution image of good contrast, color and tonal range.

Good perspective & long depth of field ... Bob

What a grand looking shot that not onle covers the falls, but also the neighbouring mountains and valley. I can hear the road from here. The light, and the composition have worked well . Thanks for sharing!

I love this shot, love that lone tree right in the center. This is a place that you cannot go down to the river, or even canoe it because of the falls, just goes to show how small we are as I see the trees so small in the background

Great capture of the Upper Falls in Yellowstone Park. I like the angle you used for this showing the dramatic cascade of water rushing down in between the rocks. Love all the patterns shown in the rocky surface. Very good camera techniques. Great composition. Suzanne

Wow that really is a dramatic view! Yellowstone Park has been on my bucket list for quite a while now and your image has made me realise I need to start ticking off some of those places and Yellowstone should be one of the first!
A great image here, all beautifully focused with lovely natural colours. It's good that you included the two foreground trees as they really give the whole a sense of scale.
Nice one!
Charlotte
