What a perfect place to be! This appears to be an autumn scene with the charming little red house right at the edge of the lake. I can see that it has a deck protected by a white railing . The house is built up on stilts .
I like that you included the small pier so the owners are easily able to get into their boat for a day on the water.
I love that large tree up n back of the house and the way its branches reach out up into the sky.
This is very well created, it's very easy to imagine myself being there, sitting up on the deck .or getting into the boat .
Well chosen and applied colors . I like this very much! Well presented!

Lovely combination of similar drawing and contemporary abstract on the tree and its reflections on the water.
It reminds me friends house cabin on the small lake that we went in the summer, same design, very simple yet a wonderful creation of lasting memories.

After seeing "The Lake House", it came to me, wouldn't it be nice to live in a lake house with a row boat, a dock and a deck overlooking the lake. I did 4 paintings in this style. Two sold and one called the "Vacation House" is posted also on Fan Art. I enjoyed the picture, two falling in love by mail and at different time frames. I enjoy quiet and serenity and thats what works for me. I truly believe in the non verbal communication that art provides and it is nice that you were able to see the same. Thank you for this wonderful review, I don't think I will ever forget it. Ray
