Hi Lynn, Love the POV of this shot! Love the slanted perch too and the way the female redwing is looking at you! The blurred background adds to the shot as the bird stands out so well from it. Nice shot! I have tried to get a good shot of this bird and have discovered they don't like it much as they seem to fly when I get close.
You did a fine job showing the beauty of this bird. There is so much difference in the male and female. I have been after the male a lot!

This is a beautiful image of the Female Redwing Blackbird. Perfectly balanced. Excellent details. Amazing colors. I like the muted greenery in the back ground. It makes the star of the show shine like a star! Very well accomplished!

A beautiful picture of this female Redwing Blackbird perched in what I think is a Willow her head turned to get a better look at you. The light sparkling in her eye while highlighting her speckled breasts & the branches she is perched in. Standing out from the blurred green background. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Good wildlife shot is this with good dof which makes the redwing blackbird stand out really well.almost seems to be posing but guess its not,probarly a long lens in this one,but works in getting a good one,,,Brian
