Hyacinth time, soon they will be pushing up through the spring. I just love the fragrance. this is a very nice enhanced picture with those transparencies and a shake of Topaz. This is so beautifully done. Good luck in the contest. Ray

Well I didn't completely understand the methodology, but it's created a lovely end result! I do like how the flower has been repeated within the background. The whole is beautifully sharp with good detail. Best wishes for the competition.

I appreciate the beauty of the hyacinth blossom in this mixed media artwork. The use of natural background with Gaussian blur and the cut and pasted hyacinth with shadows and highlighted edges creates a striking visual effect. The addition of the topaz filter as transparency over the original flower adds depth and texture to the artwork.
I am in love with the smell of this flower.
Nature has this ability to evoke strong emotions and memories. It is fascinating how certain scents can transport us to different times and places in our lives, making us feel a range of emotions from joy to sadness.
