This shot is well composed and nicely sharp, but I can't help feeling he's been in a lot of fights recently, as his wing feathers are really tatty looking - I once had a pair of geese who were killed by a fox and when I found them the male's wing feathers looked very similar, he'd obviously defended his mate to the death - maybe that's what happened here?
Anyway I digress, sorry! Lol
