Wow you did a very good job with this! Firstly to get the shot as sharp as it is when you must have been nearly touching it! And secondly to replace the background keeping those edges so clean! (You have missed a couple of bits btw, but hey it is tedious work and I'm being a nit picker! Lol)
It's a great photo and an excellent piece of work. Very best wishes for the contest.

Surprising how the ice has made a real good abstract in this,and because its only part of i presume a more bigger area of ice,i think it works better a good case of less is more i think,good one this...Brian

This Mixed Media Photography is beautiful with the ice in blues, whites, and off-whites and a black background to tip it off. The patterns on the outside appear as ruffles in places and there are other fine patterns in both the blue and outer skirt. Best wishes in the contest.

This is awesome! I love to study the patters created by ice a frost, to me this looks like a face peeking out from behind a blue curtain .
Well photographed with good focus, this image is clear, you have brought out the texture of the ice . I think it was a perfect choice to remove the concrete and darken the background .
