It's an excellent job of transforming the horse into a mythical creature. The editing is perfect; even when zooming in, it looks totally real. Perfect composition and great sharpness completes this stunning masterpiece. Good luck :)

Wow, what a beautiful and magical transformation of the New Forest Pony into a majestic unicorn! The added unicorn horn and forelock look so natural that it's hard to tell it's a composite image. The misty background really adds to the ethereal and mystical atmosphere of the photograph. The use of curves and levels to adjust the tones also help to enhance the overall mood of the image. Great work on this mixed media photography piece!

Very intriguing to say the least. We all fantasize about Unicorns and vision them just like this. The black and white format makes the Unicorn stand out and the center of focus.
great skill to add the horn so well. This is just plain cool!

It certainly is a creative approach to a black and white image. I think the mist gives it more depth and helps frame the scene. Nice tone and detail. Thanks for sharing.

A beautiful black & white picture of of this mysterious Unicorn living in the New Forest, watching you from behind the leafless trees, with mist in the background. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

It does look mysterious, beautiful and fine editing in black and white. You did a fine job with the unicorn and the lovely white pony. I would like to have seen fewer trees directly in front of it. Best wishes in the contest.

Thanks so much for your review Glena! I always find it so interesting how different everyone?s taste is, as I loved the fact that he was ?hiding? in the thicket - but hey life would be very boring if we all liked the same things! Lol
