Ok I must say I love the concept. I am not familiar with your technique but this is so creative and fun. What a great entry for the contest. I believe it is a true contender. The textures created by the branches and the surrounding mist makes for a great frame around your magical unicorn. Well done!

This bought back memories for me, being from the new forest myself and watching the Never Ending Story where the horse Atrayo was caught up in the tangled marshlands which was very upsetting for me and my two daughters.. The image is excellently composed with good use of mixed medium

Oh that was one of my son?s favourite films and I always cried my eyes out whenever I watched it with him - I never mind seeing people die in films, but when it?s an animal (particularly one like Atrayo!) it really gets to me! Lol

Well if you like horses, and if you ever go to the UK, do visit the New Forest, it?s amazing to see all those wild ponies - especially in this day and age!
