This is really cool. I like how the geometric shapes fit perfectly into the ship's formation: the sails, the masts, the hull, and their color gradients. I really like are like this, with smooth color transitions that also have rich amounts of detail carefully implanted everywhere. Art that has realistic and abstract elements fused together is my favorite art because it takes quite some consideration to create as opposed to just copying something. This is very original and aesthetically pleasing.

First let me say congratulations for posting your 500drth image. I think the ship is absolutely gorgeous! Loved the colors you used, the bubbling effect and the animation. This makes you feel like you saining into the Northern Lights. There is nothing in this not to like. I wouldn't mind sailing on this magical ship at all! Sorry I can only give you six stars! This deserves SO MUCH MORE!!!! In this flowing water contest...you really made the water flow! :o) Nancy

Such a lovely meaning behind this art piece. I really love the color choice, as well as color placement being placed so nicely. The details of the water reflections with movement are also very nicely done. Really helped bring it to life.

I think you have nailed the contest theme. Your artwork is stunning, and use of post-production animation is fabulous. Great lively colors and fantasy design of the ship is outstanding. the moving reflection in the water is very clever. Your imagination is out of this world.

Oh my Thank you ever so very much for the unexpected review but your words of kinds about my work really touched my heart in ways you never will know. As you know one can never know what to expect with reviews. The original design is so much cleaner but with a gif and FARs MB restrictions it came out a little fuzzy. But Thank you so very much my FAR Friend. Stay awesome and always Blessed ~Cindy Sue

I am not well versed in how digital art is created or what the standards are for such art so bear with me, please.

I see a piece of original digital art that is at once colorful, whimsical, hopeful and steadfast.

I see a piece that speaks to me of life's journey. We sail on calm seas now with the turbulence and clouded uncertainty behind us now and moving steadily forward.

I like the motion at the bottom but shouldn't it be flowing in the opposite direction?

Overall i like this piece it is easy on the eyes and fun to look at... Bob

Congratulations on your milestone. Post number 500, woh! This is beautiful digital art and the water indeed is moving, flowing. The ship and its components, the sky, water, and gif all are outstanding. This is a winner in digital art and the contest too.

Thank you ever so much for the lovely review Glena, especially the unexpected grateful rating. As the saying goes: float your boat, well you did mine with your review. For this I THANK YOU. I had no idea #500 would pop up. I believe FAR started this just last year and boy OH boy was I surprised. I am so happy it corresponded and linked with this piece. I just love the lyrics for We each truly are Captains of our own ships of life. Thank you again for the unexpected review.~ wish I could sign my name but darn I can?t.~

I meant to add, I agree that we all are the captains of our own ships of life, under the Savior, the supreme Captain, I believe.
