My imagining of heaven's staircase

An interesting and fascinating subject for this Art Contest. I really like how you have depicted this stairway to heaven diminishing in the clouds. I have heard both a stairway and a tunnel as a way of passing into the afterlife. I like how you have gifted a rose to your angel mother. Also I like the two toned colours. All the best in the contest!

Interestingly I was discussing exactly this with a friend who 'died' a couple of times when he had sepsis, and apparently it's a tunnel - unless he wasn't going to the same place as you! Lol
This is an excellent piece of art, I love how it vanishes into the clouds - which you've captured really well by the way! Best of luck in the contest!

The stairway is perfectly illustrated as it winds it's way up through the heavenly clouds. Your use of light as it highlights the clouds is masterful. The frosting or highlighting on the steps give a clear path to follow for the assentation to heaven. The use of hints of blue throughout the scene is outstanding. Great job.

This is a fine work painted from the heart. I liked your narrative. I would like to see the rose better as it is closer. The stairway and dreamy clouds and/or water are lovely. Best wishes in the contest.

Your brush technique is lavish and sure - I like that. The color palette is narrow but all the chosen pigments are harmonious and complimentary - they work.

I see a well presented piece of fine original impressionist art that displays a great deal of symbolism.

The central subject of the painting is irregular and winding with no defined end leads the viewers eye on.

Even though I am not privy to the significance of the rose I like how and where it is placed. In my vision it is a sort of visual starting point.

Your portrayal of keeping the unclear and uncertain vagaries of life to side bestows this scene with a certain story telling ability.

This is a quality piece of art, thanks for sharing... Bob
