This is such a lovely photo! I love how the pink bloom sits in front of the bare branches. It stands out beautifully but I also love the softly criss crossing branches in the back drop. Great balance, lovely shot!!

Think the dof in this is spot on and i like the contrast of having i flower open and the others not so it sort of balances up the overall image in this one...Brian

A lovely entry for this competition, I like that you've pictured the flower in full bloom and the two buds next to it - all of which are beautifully sharp.
A good dof has nicely blurred the background, helping the flower and buds to really pop!

This is a lovely setting, a delicate beauty. I saw a similar flower to the open one for drawing. Those deep fuchsia dots inside are lovely as are the tender petals.

I think they are cherry blossoms. They were close to my home when I was walking last year. I really appreciate your positive encouragement !
