The flower blossom itself is very pretty,my friend!
The bright red coloration of the petals really makes this picture stand out!
In all - it's a 'Good Show' of a presentation and I'm enjoying it very much!

This is a great example of mixed media photography. It is a very pretty picture and your edits seem to have enhanced it's beauty.
You're right, the background shading does give it a painting feel.
