Fred,
A beautiful picture of the undocumented escapee Rose- Ringed Parakeet looking down on you NOT for fish they eat fruit & seeds. The sunlight highlighting it's beautiful green plumage, golden eye & red beak & the russet dried leaves still clinging to the Sessile Oak tree. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Great capture of the parakeet looking for fish in the lake. He looks a wily bird as he peers across the water. I like how you filled the frame with the surrounding foliage making great contrast to his colours. Very good lighting and focus. I like the panoramic view. Suzanne

I didn't know parakeets ate fish, I thought they were seed eaters! Well you learn something new every day - unless of course you're pulling our leg, which you probably are!
This is a very good shot Fred, it's beautifully focused, well composed and the sun shining right on him spotlights him and makes the image really pop!
