I love the look of this night image of a moon lit bay. It has many interesting aspects to it with the lighthouse in the background, the waves of the sea, the moody, cloudy sky and the foreshore rocks. I love the colours you have used and the light and shading. All the best in the contest!

I love this. The way the colors are placed gives it a lifelike feel. Your skill and technique are very obvious in this piece which I could see hanging in a gallery somewhere. Wonderfully done. Thanks for sharing!

This is a lovely painting and perfect for this competition!
You've really accomplished the feel of the coast at night, with excellent detail and composition. The colours are lovely, the waves are very well done and I particularly like the foreground with the shells and seaweed. Very good luck in the contest!

Well, as you might know, seascapes are some of my favorite subjects to paint. You did a fabulous job creating the night sky. And the reflections on the water, along with the highlights on the rocks and sand. The light coming from the moon in the lighthouse is also a wonderful touch. This is all blended fabulously. Well, as you might know, seascapes are some of my favorite subjects to paint. You did a fabulous job creating the night sky. And the reflections on the water, along with the highlights on the rocks and sand. The light coming from the moon in the lighthouse is also a wonderful touch. This is all blended fabulously. This is above and beyond good. What talent! The subject matter is near and dear to my heart, as I grew up near the ocean and there are many of these pebble beaches in northern New England. The light house in the distance is the icing on the cake.
