This is a perfect entry for this contest! It is also a favorite story of mine about faith. "He walks on water " is a beautiful painting to show a dramatic sky and so much motion on the sea. Jesus is well placed and viewing brings a calm feeling , excellent choice and application of the colors to bring this scene to life, I love the way you show the lighting here too.

Love the way you did the moon, stars and water! You painted a perfect image that allows the mind's eye to feel the power of Jesus. I like how you did smooth water directly in front of Jesus. Oh Nancy, this make me so happy. I don?t think all of that through in such a way. I just create in the spirit sort of speak. Most of my art is very intuitive and it can turn out to be such a nice surprise in the end.

This is a fine example of a leap of faith as Jesus walks the water. The clouds and sea are very descriptive very nice entry for the faith contest. On a lighter note and only my personal opinion, I feel Jesus was a surfer and was hanging ten in the moon light. jewell, I wish you the best of luck in the contest. Ray

The sky looks very impressive with many different cloud shapes and the sea gives the appearance of the waves rolling in. The glowing sun (or moon) adds good contrast. Great composition.
