Congratulations on your photograph of the month. This is absolutely the most beautiful tulip I ever seen. You caught it at it's best and yes they don't last long

I find this intriguing how you have established the effect on the surroundings and leaves of this tulip, which gives it a very soecial oresentation. The capture is quite beautiful as it stands on its own and displays those veins of colour and little frilly edges.
Just popping in for a look at Fanart as I am a bit off grid at moment. Xx .

What a beauty. Great details. The yellow against the multi color back ground is perfect. I agree. Tulip flower do not last very long. Can you grow them by you outside?

Thank you very much for your awesome review! I am honored by your six star rating! Hope all is well with you! Yes these do grow outside too, my neighbor has them and they faithfully bloom every spring , she has them planted right up next to her house, this year, we had over 90 inches of snow , my back yard still has over 2 feet !

I love what you have done with the background here. The soft muted color really makes the flower stand out. You really have captured the essence of this tulip about to emerge.
I feel the same, by the way, they just don't stay long enough. ð???
Beautiful job.

a beautiful presentation of this yellow tulip, not quite in full bloom but certainly preparing to show off its full splendour,The sharpness and focus of your subject is excellent against the blurred backdrop

A stunning image of this golden coloured Tulip and its fringed petals. The clarity and detail of the petals are wonderful. The background colour is lovely and harmonises with the orange in the petal. The green stems/leaves really stand out. A really beautiful capture Pat.

Lovely tulip with yellow and bits of red. The green stem and long petals are nice too. I know what you are saying from a couple of different flowers my husband has planted, that are so beautiful, but their lifespan is fleeting. And, equally nice is the background in how that you treated it. Thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful capture of such a lovely tulip. The red blurred background is the perfect touch to bring out the golden hues. I've never seen a fringed petaled tulip.
You always have the most intricately detailed images of nature.
You have a gift my friend.

Hi Pat, I feel the same way about Peonies! They are so beautiful and their scent rivals any rose. Wish they lasted longer! Sigh! Your tulip is beautiful! Love the focus and lighting. You can see a little texture in the flower. Love the brightness of the flower and how you can see the fringe. Nice job of Capturing My Friend! I enjoyed! :o) Nancy
