Thats a beautiful sparrow singing while perched upon a cattail. Classy brown on white all formal like. I can hear him now running through songs in search of a mate. Very nicely presented. The best of luck in the contest. Ray

Beautiful image of the Singing Sparrow you can almost here him singing. The bokeh background is perfect against the colors of the bird and cattail. Focus is excellent.

Love the angle this was shot at. You can literally see down it's throat LOL. Beautifully taken. The bird is well focused and the earth tones of the image really add to a overall pleasant view. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, they are last year cattails alongside the wildlife drive, shot this from the window of my vehicle; the birds get used to seeing them so they pretty much ignore the cars when they stop-as long as you don?t get out!

The bird is beautifully sharp, showing lovely detail in the feathers, eye and beak. The colours are lovely and natural, with a great muted background which really makes him pop.
