Gorgeous moment captured as the little doe sleeps. The exposure of the white snow is great and the colors appear natural.
Great focus and dof with good composition.

Hi LeeAnn, what a lovely capture! This has a wonderful "Peace on Earth feel to it! How cool is this to have a deer that is so comfortable with you so nearby. Love the feeling this emotes. In this world calm is a fleeting thing and it's so nice to have an image that reflects that! Nice job with the focus and lighting. Definitely an image worth reviewing! Great presentation My Friend! I enjoyed! :o) Nancy

Lee Anne,
A beautiful picture of Hannah curled up asleep while the snow is falling around her. Her ears are pricked so I think she's only dozing ready to run if she senses danger. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Really nice shot. It sure helps when they are familiar with people. She must of been there for a bit to have snow collecting. Cool capture. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks very much, actually it had just started snowing, I have photos I took about an hour earlier showing no snow!

Your photo of the sleeping dear, has turned out, wonderfully well! I love that we can see all of her fine textures, and how well focused the entire scene is. Great definition with all natural colors, I feel like I'm standing right there. Well done!

I thought at first it was a faun waiting for mum to return, but on closer inspection I see she isn't, but she does look quite young - any idea on her age?
This is such a beautiful photo and what an honour to be able to get so close - ha ha maybe you've misnamed yourself on FAR, wouldn't Deer Whisperer be more appropriate?
Your photo is beautifully focused, showing every tiny detail. Your exposure and white balance are spot on, not a tinge of blue to be seen in that pure white snow! A stunning photo of a very beautiful Hannah!

Thanks for the wonderful review and extra star, Charlotte; She?s at least three years old. My husband gave me the nickname Walks With Deer after I walked thru the woods with my beloved 8 point buck Bullseye one cold January morning, followed by our yearling spike buck, Lil Bucky. We ended up about three properties over until Bullseye decide to lay down.

Oh I love that nickname, like Dances with Wolves (I love that film!)!
You?re more than welcome, it?s a beautiful photo.
