Hi Willie, I don't know if there is such a thing as a sideway smile, but this deer looks like that's exactly what he's doing. What a great capture! Focus is so good that you can see some texture of the silk on the deer's growing antlers. Love the sparkle in the eye! Lighting shows the deer of beautifully. Unusual side shot but very nicely presented. A great entry for the "Nature Phot Contest!" Good Luck! :o) Nancy
