Think Susan you needed a bigger lens or get nearer [which is not easy as you could scare the robin of]and therefore have nothing but because the ribin is just a small part and the fact its a back view i really can,t feel can more than four on this, know fro other photos you do have been better...Brian

    Brian,
Thanks for taking the time to review this picture of the Robin about to enter the nest in the Ivy.
I watched it going in & out of the nest site several times. All I could do was focus on the Ivy & wait for the Robin to fly into the frame & hopefully click in time to catch it. It was at full zoom on my Compact camera. I can't afford a DSLR camera.

Thank you, artist Susan, for sharing the information and this lovely capture of the bird about to build a nest. The ivy and plant life are lovely. The bird with the leaf, which I noticed even before reading your material, is adorable. The border adds to the composition as usual. Thanks for sharing.

Welcome, artist friend Susan. Nice indeed.

Hello Susan. You truly are a bird watcher, for sure. This would be much more interesting if the robin was taken as more of a focal point and we could see more detail of the bird.
It's mostly greenery.
However the shot is clear and centered! Smiling....

    Jewell,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this Robin with a leaf in it's beak.
A shot like this it's taken within a split second. I focused on the Ivy, hoping the Robin would fly into the frame.

Wonderful photograph of this busy builder so nicely captured in the green ivy paradise. He does have his work cut for him for days to come.
Nice colors and details. Susan thank you for sharing.

Merci beaucoup mille fois for your time in reviewing this little European Robin native to Europe

A good capture of the Robin with nesting material in its beak. The bird is difficult to see clearly against the dark leaves, possibly would have tried to get a little closer or blurred out the background a little more.

I had to enlarge the image cause the little bird seemed lost in it. I think it works for the image. It looks a little on the dark side which I am assuming it was either later in the day or early in the morning. It's a cool capture. Thanks for sharing.
