Beautifully captured. Not my favorite subject matter whatsoever, so major props for your bravery for sure. So realistic that it gives me chills every time I look at it. Great choice in having the background blurred, any other way would distract from the amazing realism and detail of the subject, and the effectiveness of extracting various emotions would be lost.

Looks similar to the jumping spiders we have here in Australia and your image is perfectly focused on the eyes. The colors appears natural and your composition is good. Like the blurred background.
