A very beautiful & atmospheric picture of this seascape The lighter centre drawing the eye into the heart of the picture. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera & editing techniques& sharp focus.

I tried to give this the feeling of losing your peripheral vision. Thanks for the great review!

OMG how wonderfully out of the box!!! This is a truly amazing and spectacular idea - oh, and the photo's not bad either! Lol
Actually the photo is great, even without the tunnel vision, focus, dof, exposure blah blah blah are all good, but it's the idea and the execution of it that, for me anyway, deserves the six stars!
Damn you, I thought I had a good one for this contest!!! LOL

This is i think maybe a strange one for the t contest but in saying that having read your notes then can see where you are coming from with this, okay the scene is a straight forward but it works...Brian

They do call this tunnel vision. :o) I tried hard to give the illusion of what it's like to have it. I'm glad you read my notes to see what I was trying to do. That all by itself means a lot! Glad you thought it works.... that means a lot too!

Though I've never had Glaucoma or tunnel vision I tried to do my best to give the illusion of it. Sorry to hear you had Glaucoma, but glad to hear you recovered. To an artist their eyes mean everything! Take care and thank yo for the review!

How witty, sharing a subject that is urgently important to all, especially as one ages, and photographic art that is so creative. Thank you for bringing this to awareness with info and a fine visual that describes the condition so accurately. Best wishes in the contest also.

Very impressive and creative. Overall, this opens up exciting new possibilities for artists who wish to create exotic landscapes. It is also educative and transports the viewer to a new realm of visual exploration. Good luck!

I suffer from Optic Migraines which is like looking through a kaleidoscope and can last a couple of minutes up to 15 or 20. This does show to a degree the impact during that time. Fortunately no glaucoma in my case.
Interesting creative entry into the contest with good notes.

My dad had optic migraines. They lasted about the same time as yours. I'm sure you were just as happy when they were over. I'm glad you felt I captured a bit of tunnel vision in this image. Thanks for the great review!
