I am so glad I popped in this morning ! This is an outstanding entry for this contest! I was immediately drawn in by the light and shadows here! I love your POV! Love the way you captured the rays from the sun and the shadows from the bench. It looks like such a beautiful place to be!
Well photographed with spot on focus, this image is sharp and clear, awesome handling of the light , colors and tones appear true and natural.

A very beautiful sunrise picture in the Colchester Castle Park. With the sun radiating through the tree on the horizon in background with park bench casting it's shadow on the path in the foreground. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

Oh dear, I guess I break the rules as well, I prefer to be facing the sun or else my shadow shows up in the photos, Love this, love the bench and I sure would sit here for sure.

Very nice photograph! I love the way the sun light is shining through the trees and the shadows from the bench. I do like this but I first saw this I thought this would bake a great black & white.

Normally not a fan of images taken into the sun but this one works well for the contest with the light creating long shadows of the bench seat.

I'm glad you didn't follow the rules! Love those long shadows and the rays of the sun coming thru. There are exceptions to every rule and this is definitely one of them.
