Good use of light and shadow in the black and white image. The angle of the shot provides an interesting look at the historic house.
Good focus and dof.

This is pretty. Those many people are missing out. I particularly like the lights and shadows you capture, and the clarity of the textures, cobblestone, roof shingles. Good work! ~ Alex

This is a wonderful entry in lights and shadows. I like old buildings and places. This building is well preserved, it appears. Best wishes in the contest. Thanks for sharing the info also.

A fine entry for the contest. The contrasts are awesome and the fading light adds mystery. Finely composed and timed, this makes for interesting viewing. Good luck!

A beautiful black & white picture of the Elm Hill Craft Shop on a corner in the old part of Norwich that was first opened in 1936. A beautiful & interesting composition, framing & lighting taken with an artist's eye, superb camera & editing techniques & sharp focus.

Ah but that's the beauty of it, there's no one around!
A good choice of image for this contest, and very nice in B&W, very in keeping with the subject.
Focus and dof are excellent, but I feel that the tonal range could do with a little tweaking, the whites are a tad grey. And it's a shame you've clipped the top window, with less foreground you could have possibly got it in? Having said that, it looks a very enclosed area and there were probably buildings and cars making it impossible.
Good luck in the competition!
Charlotte
