I always get lost in color and I must say it is so much fun. Color makes for a joyous piece, But for the most part, I think I know when to move on, it is like an end game, else it will go to black . Nancy thank you so much for the kudos and thoughtful review, I appreciate that. Ray

Ray, I absolutely adore that little man trying to emerge from the paint! He's so small in the middle there, and yet the detail is fantastic! His little button nose, the white beard and his (excellently painted) glasses slightly askew, I love him. Actually he does remind me a bit of how my father looked, but I assure you that isn't the attraction! Lol
An excellent piece of work. Very good luck in the contest!

Oh it?s a selfie! Does that mean I?ve just professed my love for you?!?! Lol
I really would love to see some more of your traditional art Ray, just the tiny details in this painting tells me what an excellent traditional artist you are too - and I understand and can ?feel? it so much more easily than abstract.
