One thing that strikes me is it eyes a rather dark but think the gibbon is just like that so not much you can do in that respect, was you looking down Mary on this gibbon which is not always the best way to take an animal shot, but sometimes you have to take whats there, good clear photo though...Brian

Thanks Brian, you walk up a ramp and look down into the enclosure she was hanging from a tree and with their long arms made her a reasonable way down.

A good looking nature image posted here! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of that beautiful ape. Like her eyes and fluffy fur. Sharpness and exposure are good. Nicely taken!

Gosh I so hate to see the huge decline in so many rare species, it breaks my heart. Is this a native to Australia or African? She's so beautiful.
I can't quite work out the bit above her head, is it her body as she swings down, or a very wide tail? Well whichever, I do like the photo.
Focus is excellent, and the fur is so detailed, her eyes are too, though with her dark face they're a little hidden - her fault totally, not yours! Lol And I like the palm leaves behind her, they give the impression of her being in the wild.

Thanks, she is hanging from one arm off a branch. They are native to SE Asia, we don't have any native monkeys. The arm is longer than from head to feet.

Aha yes! I can see it now! Thank you!
Whoops I never was good at geography, sorry about that!
