You muay they needed tdst have been heartbroken. I don't believe in this day ang a beautiful animal needs to be killed for sport. Back in the day they needed to kill for food. Today its called sport. I find it abhorrent. Than you for sharing this beautiful photo

This is a beautiful picture of a beautiful deer - I just can't believe that someone thought it was Ok to kill him! The picture is well focused and framed, and the colours are gorgeous. Well done

Very sad indeed. You have shown these gentle animals in different poses in parks or jungles, gracefully moving or standing still. They have a peaceful and elegant appearance as they walk or rest amidst the lush surroundings. They display the natural beauty and harmony of the animal kingdom. Your lovely photo is proof of that!

Hi LeeAnn, The only way I would ever shoot something is with a camera! It's so sad that something as magnificent as this has to be shot with a rifle. I'm sure this image is even more special to you now! One of the things I really like about your deer shots was how much the deer trusted you. That's a special gift My Friend! Your shots are always wonderful, beautifully focused and taken with great lighting! It's so sad knowing we won't see this buck anymore. Thank you for sharing this beautiful animal with us. Hugs! :o) Nancy

Wow! What a beautiful shot of this stunning creature. Sad that he was shot and killed!
The capture of his pose this way looks as though he was posing intentionally. Just beautiful! He blends wonderfully with the foilage. Great job

an excellent close up of this beautiful bullseye resting on the ground, certainly not imagine that some stupid people will kill him just for pleasure;

A good looking nature image posted here! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of your handsome Bullseye. Sorry, to learn it has been killed. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely taken!

    Thank you for your review; he was killed because someone wanted venison for their freezer. The hardest thin is that I saw him die; I heard the shot, and shortly after that I saw him running back down into our woods, stumble and fall, by the time I reached him, he was dead.
