Wow. This certainly shows the dryness of Tsiroanomandidy! What a crazy name! This reminds me of the desert in New Mexico. I lived there for thirty years.
The skies are so beautiful laced with fluffy clouds as though rain may be imminent and definitely needed.
Nice balance and clear exposure in this fine capture. From a distance, that wagon full of hay, could appear to be a buffalo. GREAT JOB

Very nice landscape photograph. The cart is a nice touch, especially with the Rule of Thirds. This might be a great photo on metal.

Thank you so much for your review. I?ve never seen photos on metal, hmm I?ll have to look into that.

Charlotte,
A beautiful & atmospheric landscape with blue mountains in far distance while in the foreground the earth is parched the overloaded Hay cart with the hay tied on with string or a rope that might I assume will be pulled by an Ass/Donkey. The over cast cloudy sky looks as if the dry season might soon be at an end. Beautiful atmospheric composition, framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus
Good luck in the contest.
Susan

Thank you so much Susan, for your wonderful review and high rating! Both are very much appreciated.
The cart would have been pulled by oxen, or zebu as they?re known over there, they don?t seem to have donkeys like they do on mainland Africa - or at least I haven?t seen any, anyway.

What an awesome scene! I love the old cart full of hay and it's placement off to the right , we can see that it's the dry season , it's such a nice landscape scene with the sky alive with a sense of motion in the clouds , the distant mountains and the earthy tones on the dry land .
You have photographed it well with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear true and natural,
Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Hay Charlotte, just had to say it.: ) Beautiful picture of this ancient cart, must of been in the family for centuries, full of hay. I love the name of the town too, sort of asks a question at the end, didy? The picture is beautiful with the clouds just hanging there and you could see forever. Madagascar must be an exciting place. A good looking image posted here into the competition! Can't even begin to pronounce it. Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of that interesting location. Textures, colours and tones are good. Exposure and sharpness are good.
