Coal Tit ~ Periparus ater on my Feeder

I like your play on words in the title. It is also imaginative, the sub-title that is. The bird appears to know its business and presents a feeling that it belongs there. Not the clearest seen all way round but nice enough, with the red feeder and the border.

Most welcome, artist friend Susan. That bird appears content to stay.

Hi Susuan, He looks just like a Chickadee. I think they are such a cute little bird. Love the way this little guy seems to be looking right at you. I love the way he's perched on that feeder too! What in the world are you doing here! You should be filling the feeder for the little guy! LOL Very sweet and a joy to view with good lighting and focus! :o) Nancy

Although a good close up Susan it is not 100% sharp can,t think why was it shot through glass or something, also the eyes needed to be clearer in this other than that nothing wrong with it...Brian

    Brian,
Thanks a million for your complementary review.
I have no choice but to capture the birds in my garden through the patio Door. If I open it my Jack Russell Terrier Jesse will run out & soon scatter the birds.

I love the composition of this picture but it is pity that you cannot see the birds eyes. Still taking shots of wild birds is hard at the best of timers so well done for capturing a very cute image.

A lovely shot of this coal tit Susan, well seen and well captured.
You've achieved excellent detail in the feathers and the beak, and I love how his head is turned towards the viewer.
I love the composition, with that dark red feeder set in the corner with the bird hanging from it and the bottom left corner doesn't feel like empty space as he's looking straight into it.
Great shot, thanks for sharing.

Susan, I just love the way you caught this tit facing out. The colors are very supportive red against the black and the tit is in focus and looks great. Nice job. Ray

Hey, where's the seed? That's what this sweet little bird seems to be asking, reminds me of our black capped chickadees over here, they get rather testy when the feeder is empty, too! This is a lovely shot, nice feather detailing ,well exposed and the image is really well composed and nicely presented with your lovely frame. A great photo, Susan!

Oh Susan don't they get so irate when one is not jolly on the spot with more of whatever it is they fancy?

A high resolution take on this Coal Tit. Excellent camera settings. Lots of feather detail and in the beak. The eyes are not seen due the black on black eyes of the species.

The framing is top notch, very expressive, lots of visual impact.

Nice shot... Bob

Birds sit and fly with ease. They rest on all surfaces, keeping a careful eye on their surroundings, their calls blending with the sound of other birds. In a graceful motion, they take flight, their wings gliding through the air. I get those feelings when I see your shots of the birds. Well done!
