Love the pose captured of this Woodpecker.
The bird looks as though it is looking toward the heavens which have just opened up through the tree foliage.

What a beautiful woodpecker! Its position is unique, well captured. I'd never seen one this color. The spots and other coloring on its body are intriguing. The sky peeping through and the blurring of the foliage along with the outstanding perch so plainly seen are all outstanding and best wishes in the contest.
