Very nice capture of the immature Baltimore Oriole as it clings to the feeder hanger.
The bird is well focused, the image is clear, you have brought out well defined detail in feathers, face and beak. I appreciate that glint in the eye.
The bird is well placed within the frame allowing a close look. The bird steps forward from the soft background.
I think I would remove that bright spot below .
Otherwise, well composed and presented! We of course, don't have these birds here.

I got one with S hook removed - its ok, but I liked the reflected light on its belly and left it in for a visual reference point.
Thank you so very much for great review and rating Pat. I am glad you liked the post ... Bob

Nice image of your Baltimore Oriole. The details are so clear. Great balance, focus and exposure. The angle that you used makes it appear as an ornament hung by a wire at first. Optical illusion. ð???

Very interesting I never saw an immature Baltimore Oriole. The sun hitting that little piece of the hanger is interesting. I would get Orioles in out feeder with oranges and grape jelly.

Bob, such a beautiful photo of this youngster! And what a fascinating list of tasty titbits that appeal to their pallets - who'd have thought!
Beautifully taken (but that's no surprise! Lol), with good focus and dof showing lovely detail throughout, all set off nicely by the background bokeh.
Exposure is spot on, the colours are wonderful - especially around his head and that lovely golden tail.
Great capture!

Bob,
This Oriole deserves a SIX but I've run out of SIXES. It's eye with the light sparkling in it is watching you. The metal hook is reflected on the Oriole's side while the sunlight is highlighting it's beautiful plumage as it stands out from the blurred blue green background. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

The captivating photograph captures a moment between a human and a bird as they engage in mutual admiration.. The composition beautifully showcases the bird's graceful presence against a natural backdrop. The attention to detail is remarkable, from the intricate texture of its feather to the gentle expressions on its face. Well done!
