This is a skilled photograph of a beautiful bird, so strangely called: it has very little black in it. The focus and composition are great, as is the background. It is almost like the lovely leafed-branch and bird all will just float away. Professional! Best wishes in the contest.

Very nice photograph! Usually to see a Redwing they are in cattails. I love the subtle green background which gives a good clear view of this pretty bird.

This female red winged blackbird is really cute, and you have pictured her so well. The light is falling on her in such a lovely way. The softened background makes the bird stand out in an excellent way.
The photo is pin sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the bird, and especially the shiny eye is well captured. The exposure is spot on.
The cropping is nicely done, and the bird has got such a fine placement off to the left. I also like a lot the diagonal placement of the branch. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.
