This is a fine outdoors presentation. I really like it. The chairs are colorful and the composition nicely done. The sky and distance bring depth. Congratulations on your win, dear friend.

HD really makes those colors pop! I really like your perspective, we get a great look at that deserted beach, overcast sky and gray sea, definitely looks like Fall is on its way. I'd definitely have a field day on that beach collecting stones-lol! Anyway, this is a beautiful, well taken photo and great contest entry, wish you all the best!

Thank you SO much LeeAnn! Aha so you?re a bit of a beachcomber too huh? I?m a shell person myself, but a few miles further down the coast ammonites can be found on the beach, so forget the stones and shells, ammonites are much more fun! Lol

I collect shells, too, when we go to the beach on vacation, my husband always asks me what I am going to do with them, my answer is I don?t know, just have to pick them up-lol! Ammonites?! I would definitely be picking them up!!! :)

Ha ha I?m exactly the same, I just can?t sit still on a beach!
I suppose it must be something we just can?t help! Lol

Hi Charlotte, Look like a summer storm is on the horizon. Those clouds look thick! I have the feeling that's why no-one is on the beach! LOL Love pebbly beaches like this! You never know where you might find a pretty rock. I like the colorful setup of chairs too! Very nice shot down the beach. Great lighting and focus too! Nice shot for the "Outdoors contest! Good Luck! :o) Nancy

Thanks Nancy, it was pretty blowy that day too, I certainly wouldn?t have wanted to sit in the deckchairs either!

This is an awesome example of the end of summer! Your photo blending is spectacularly done here. The angularity is incredible. Great job. Goid luck in the contest.

Thank you SO much Jewell! It was one of my favourite photos of my trip to Dorset, I?m so pleased you liked it enough to give it a six!

A good looking image posted here into the competition! I have been to Dorset many times during my life, visiting my aunt and uncle who lived near Poole. Its a lovely region as you lovely photo demonstrates. Well done and good luck!

Thanks Nikman, so lovely to receive a more personal review from you rather than your standard one, so thank you for that too, I appreciate it!

Look very much like it! Not a single soul around! Your timing appears to be perfect and you have captured the deserted look of the beach very well.It has a colourful look! Good luck!

A wonderful capture of a summer's end scene. The sky and water aren't inviting and some of the colorful chairs may have overturned from wind or disuse.
The composition is wonderful; the curving arch almost jettisons you into the sea.
Fall May be approaching but this scene speaks of hope for another sunshiny day.

Charlotte that could only be in England with the Beach Huts at the base of the cliff & despite the clouds over head the Deck chairs are lined up along the pebbly shingle beach it anticipation of the sun breaking through the clouds overhead . The row lined just above the tide line draw the eye to the base of the grass topped chalk cliffs. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

    Thanks Brian.
Oh how annoying, I didn?t even check it, well spotted! Of course, I?ll blame it on the ultra wide angle lens I used! I corrected the overly wide deckchairs on the right, but totally forgot the horizon!

Oh yes, it's the dreaded end of summer . The beach chairs are all lined up along the shore inviting people to sit and enjoy the view, however they are empty. You have photographed this well with spot on focus, this image is clear and your exposure is perfect, colors and tones appear true and natural. Your use of HDR was effective , I love the sky and the water and the detail in the pebbles on the beach.
Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Oh Pat, you must dread winter even more than I do! Has yours been a good summer? Ours hasn?t particularly, so much rain!
Thank you so very much for your wonderful review and rating, a six from you always makes my day.

I do dread winter, just because last winter was so brutal and we had so much rain during the summer! It?s 63 degrees F this morning so we have another couple of months with decent temperatures! I love this image ! The 6 is well deserved!

I?ll keep my fingers crossed you get a better winter this year!
