I don't know why, but at first glance, I couldn't figure out what this was! What a great capture of your visitors! The little stinkers that they are!

Only skunks i have seen in the uk is in a zoo,and that was only one zoo i visited,and they did not smell,funny because of the position of the skunks they look like a pair of boots in this[stupid thought though]nice one...Brian

I know they don't smell too good, but I always find skunks rather cute - ha ha but living in England I only get to see photos of them, which of course comes without the stink!
A great photo of these two little guys, beautifully focused with a good dof and spot on exposure.

The animals are pretty for skunks. They look like they are fixing to spray right there. They look like they are in love. All about the Mother Nature.

I can tell you are not familiar with the rating system; 2 1/2 stars is a poor rating and indicates a photo that needs a lot of improvement, which this does not. Most photos are rated at 5 stars, and if it is very good it will rate 6 stars. It helps to check reviews and ratings left by others to help you determine what you want to leave for a rating. It?s a learning curve. And welcome to FAR!

While the threat of one of them putting up a literal stink is always possible, skunks are kind of cute when it comes right down to brass tacks. This is a lovely picture.

Many thanks, they are cute, we?ve enjoyed seeing them as some years we don?t see them at all; and as long as our dog doesn?t get up close and personal with them, all is good!
